2nd clue image for #ISeeTheWorldWithScience , Round 3
1st Teaser for #ISeeTheWorldWithScience , Round 3 is here:
This round of #ISeeTheWorldWithScience is dedicated to Allison Sekuler and Mark Bruce. A very happy birthday to both of them.
I’ll post a final image tomorrow. Candy Gray guessed In part *humorous + a type of *macaroni. That sums up the first image but that’s just part of the picture. I’ll comment with another clue before the final image.
If you want to guess what the specimen is, tell me something interesting about it but don’t say what your guess is. I get annoyed when people don’t follow instructions, maybe because I’m an engineer. So please don’t blurt out the answer. In the past it has been fun to try to decipher the guesses as they were cleverly written by some.
If you don’t want to guess, you can tell me what science the image makes you think of.
I will announce the winner after the 3rd image has been up for 24 hrs.

In all seriousness, I’ve got no ideas. Yet.
Carissa Braun the first image was easier to get oriented. To be honest I don’t think anyone will guess the species, kind of like me guessing your tree species. So I’ll leave a good clue tomorrow.
Do “scaredy-cats” lack these?
But not being able to guess does make me that much more interested in knowing Chad Haney 🙂
I don’t think so Johnathan Chung. You might be too specific.
A tadpole…becoming a frog 🙂 ??
Haha – I thought I knew at least what it was, but now I have no idea 😀
No idea at all. Unless the guy on the right just shot the head off the guy on the left, while zooming upwards on the jet pack. But I’m waiting for the answer.
On the other hand, I think of pain being aggravated before a storm, which every sufferer claims, but the only evidence is anecdotal. [My guess]
On the gripping hand, it’s probably a lot lot smaller, so my guess is likely way off.
Carol Priest it’s one piece. I’m just showing a slice of it. Knut Torgersen the previous image should help. I’ll hand it to you Jyoti Dahiya, you aren’t completely out in left field.

Umm, Chad Haney , ‘specie’ is not the singular of ‘species’. ‘Species’ is. ‘Specie’ means money, in the form of coins, metal or bullion…
Umm, thanks for catching the typo Jyoti Dahiya
Not at all. I wish you more specie. 🙂
You as well, Jyoti Dahiya. Do you have opossum where you live?
Nope. We have rats, moles, cats, dogs, cows, buffaloes, a few horses, termites, assorted insects, including an Australian import that has no known eradication, but no opossum.
So the Aussies protect their borders one-way, then?
