In this post, I present microCT images of rat and rabbit hearts that were used to image the conducting tissue. Dr. Jarvis et al used an iodine contrast agent, (I2KI) which they found was taken up less in conducting tissue. This provided the contrast necessary to visualize the conducting tissue.
